Some of Milo's Momma's Favorite Photos

Christmas 2007

So, I found this bear when I was pregnant, and thought it would be PERFECT for my Milo. I found this picture on the computer at mom and dads.... Isn't it so funny of the cat?!

My First Christmas -- YAY!!!

We had so much fun at grand-ma and grand-pa's. Mommy gave me a little drummer set and a new pair of handsome shoes, grandparents gave me lots of toys. I got a really cool monster truck from my Uncle Dale (who I will let hold me one day) and my Aunty Janae, and My Tann gave me a really pimp outfit.

So, was pretty spoiled.

Look at my mommy and Aunty Janae trying to control us cousins for a picture....hahaha

Same Face?

Sometimes, I tell you, I feel as if I was merely a portal for the next generation Jakins to come through.

Dad, Where's My Milo?

Under the bed, while grandpa was napping...

Mommy's First Birthday Memory

So, I was thinking to myself this morning as I was eating my cereal, that Milo is just about to turn 1 year old.

My very first memory that I have was of my 1st birthday party. I remember it being at a park, I remember walking around the table looking for my mom, my Aunty Gaye was holding a jug of Orange Oros, my birthday cake was the best ever, chocolate with chocolate frosting with a cherry in the middle, and I got the best present ever! I got a hammer that squeaked on both sides that you hit it.

So, my thought was that I really wanted to get my sweet Milo a hammer as well. You know, 'cause he's 1! Anyway, was going to head to the nearest big-box store tomorrow to find one.

Tonight while eating dinner at mom and dads, I see that Milo has a special care package from him Aunty Heather. Mom and I could wait to open it, but guess what was inside....

Thank you Aunty!!!

Missing Milo Party

Grandma sent out an invitation to me because I hadn't seen her in 4 days. It was a party for me, and I had to take my mom....

We had yummy dinner and played lots of games.

Dishes!

I love to help my grandma load (un-load in actuality) the dishwasher. Then, I get to push the button to turn it on!

Cooking!!

Ok -- So I'm a busy body. Here I am making Meat Loaf with my Grandma, and Breakfast with my Grandpa -- Oh! I LOVE food and apparently, really love to cook!

Grommet

The surgical procedure for placing tubes in the ears has become one of the most commonly performed operations of any kinds.  The procedure is a simple one.  A tiny tube, with a collar on both ends, is slipped through a tiny incision in the eardrum.  "This pressure-equalization (PE) tube provides a temporary, extra Eustachian tube which can help in several ways."  The procedure has been widespread use since 1954, and is very safe -- probably safer than driving to the hospital for the surgery.

So Milo is having surgery on Thursday.

Eat Dirt

Literally. I did.

We were at grandma's house, and I love love love to crawl all over the place. My Oupa left the back door open, so I found my Ouma's potted plants.

Yummy Yummy!

Happy Halloween!

Meet Chucky

I was sick for my first Halloween, so mommy dressed me up and took me to see my Tann -- and all the wait staff at Macaroni Grill.  I'm kind of a celebrity there.  They hear about me every day.

My mommy even got me a play knife to chew on.  Everyone who saw me thought my costume was brilliant.

Thanks grandma for all the stitching and painting!!!

So Brave

Well, Milo had his well child visit this week. Which means shots. OH! I hate it!

He was so brave though, cried for a second but was over it before we even left the office.

He is getting tubes in his ears, hopefully to help with the re-occuring ear infections, and will also be seeing an eye specialist in January -- has a bit of a lazy eye.

So, all is well!

Oupa

So, the old guy is 58 this past weekend.

I love my Oupa, Grandpa, Grand-dad, Old Guy....

He makes my hot cereal for me in the mornings, those mornings my mommy lets me sleep over.

This morning, however, grandma was trying to help keep my belly full.  You see, grandpa will feed me a bit, then feed himself.  Well, that pause when he feeds himself, I'm not such a fan of.  So, grandma came over to help.  However, apparently, this is something I ONLY do with grandpa.  Twice, I pushed grandma out of the way while she was feeding me.

Mommy and grandma laughed SO hard.  However, I don't find it that funny.

Grandpa feeds me and shows me lights, grandma cleans up after me, makes me delicious bottles, washes my clothes, bathes me, dresses me, changes my diapers, reads to me, paints my monkey on the wall and on a canvas to go home, sings to me, knits me hats, comes to my house when I'm sick, and, well, you get the picture.

I'm one spoiled little monster!!!

Now, when will mommy go away again so I can arrive at the front door with my blue suitcase again?...

Shuru!!

So, this picture was taken the weekend after we took my uncle stubot into the MTC

Shuru and I were playing hide-n-seek in his room.  Mainly, Shuru hiding, and me seeking.

Some Pregnant Photos of Me

Hi, I thought I would post these, mainly for the Aunties that didn't get to see them. These pictures were taken December 23rd, so about a week before I delivered the little monster.

Go To Sleep!!

It only took us 30 minutes to go down today.  It's so funny, because I put his crib in the living room, since my king size bed takes up the entire bedroom.  Anyway, it works out pretty well when I am in the living room, to drape his blanket over the side of the crib.  Except for now he has figured out the whole standing and walking around the crib bit.

Not to mention he loves to pull down the blanket.  He was in there yelling at me for the last 10 minutes or so, when all of a sudden...silence.

HAHA

The Gaddie and The Tann

So, look how much I love my mommy.

Anyway, this post is to show you my Tann and her Jacob, which I guess that makes him mine!!

They kept on making me pose in pictures with them.  Outta control!!

Evidence to the Contrary

You may sound like you're crying
You may act like you're crying
You may even on occasion squirt out a tear

However, as shown in photo, you just know how to yell the loudest.

I must say, you look like your mommy in this photo.
