So, I'm really trying to get this little man to sleep through the night. He was, but then we moved from cozy grandma and grandpa's, and it was back to waking up once a night.
Well, today, he woke up again at 4am, and was coughing as loud as he could to get my attention. Which really, is SO hilarious, because when I do respond he gives me this look of "oh, did I wake you?"
Anyway, I refused to get up today and cater to his ever need, so left him there, talking and coughing away. He eventually did go back to sleep, and this is what I found this morning...

We have a similar crib. My kids have done the same thing. I remember feeling so bad when I'd go to get my baby in the morning and he would have his foot stuck in between the slats! Oh well, they need to learn to sleep through the night, and if it truly bothered them, I think they'd cry for real. You learn to tell the difference between the hey-I'm-bored-at-3am cry and the I've-got-a-real-problem-here cry. You're doing great. Good luck with sleeping through the night. Stay strong!
